Ekaterina Ivanovna Muravieva, born in 1922. In November 1942, she volunteered for the front and fought at the Stalingrad front as a telephone operator. A junior sergeant, participant in the Battle of Stalingrad, field telephonist of the 47th Headquarters Artillery Battery of the 5th Army, as part of the 3rd Belorussian Front, travelled along the front lines from Stalingrad to the Baltic Sea. She took part in the battles of Staraya Rusa, Vitebsk and Vilno. Kaunas, in the liberation of Poland and Prussia. Awarded the Order of the Red Star, medals "For Courage", "For Merit in Combat", "For the Defence of Stalingrad", "For the Victory over Germany", "For the Victory over Japan" and others.
