Sirotkin Alexander Petrovich

Alexander Petrovich Sirotkin. He was conscripted into the army in 1938 for the Pacific Fleet. Service was carried on the destroyer "Ryanom" with the rank of senior gun commander. In 1943 the destroyer was hit by the Japanese. The ship on which Alexander was on sank, was wounded for a long time, he kept on the water and then contracted tuberculosis. American sailors rescued him, who was already sinking, and then sent him for treatment to the American continent (San Francisco). He returned to his home village in 1944. In the village, he got a reader's room.
