Mayakovsky Drama Theatre in Bryansk, blown up by occupiers in 1943 in retreat. The theatre building was almost completely destroyed: before the retreat, the Germans booby-trapped the building and the explosion started after the city was liberated. The theatre building was subsequently rebuilt.
