Sytov Ivan Nikitovich (born June 13, 1916) - senior lieutenant. He graduated from the military aviation school, worked as an instructor pilot. During the years of war he fought on the South - Western Front. Took part in the Battle of Stalingrad and the liberation of the Left-Bank Ukraine. On September 8, 1943, for 150 combat missions, 19 personally shot down enemy aircraft and the courage and high flying skills shown at the same time, he was awarded the title of Hero of the USSR with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal. On October 16, 1943, having rammed an enemy fighter, he died like a hero .
