Born on December 28, 1920 in the city of Georgievsk of Stavropol Region. He was sent to the active army on the Central Front in August 1941. He fought as a scout leader. He participated in the battle of Stalingrad from August 1942 to march 1943. As a platoon leader, he participated in the Battle of Kursk, the liberation of Ukraine, and the crossing of the Dnieper River. He participated in the battles for East Prussia and the assault on Konigsberg from March to May 1945. After the war, Uvarov served in the military construction units in Chelyabinsk-40, together with the unit, he was transferred to Seversk in 1960.
