Fedor Kanal’in, Guards Sergeant of the troops of chemical protection
Fyodor is a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a resident of the town of Seversk.
Born on May 10, 1924 in the Moscow Region. He was called up in 1943 and sent to the active army as to the 167th Separate Chemical Protection Company of the 6th Mechanized Corps of the 4th Tank Army of the Bryansk Front. He took part in the Battle of Kursk, the liberation of cities in Western Ukraine, the crossing of the Oder River, and the liberation of Prague. Decorated: The Order of Glory 3rd degree, Order of the Patriotic War 2nd degrees, medals For the Capture of Berlin, For the Liberation of Prague and others.
Fedor Kanal’in came to the city of Seversk in 1958. He worked in various positions for the enterprise #252 (MSU-74).
