ANISIMOV VASILY KONDRATIEVICH
ANISIMOV VASILY KONDRATIEVICH (1912-1976) Born in 1912 in Dubovskoe village. He served on the fronts of the Patriotic War since February 1944. He fought on the 1st Belorussian Front. By January 1945, the tank crew of the guard first sergeant Anisimov knocked out over 20 guns, 7 tractors, 7 mortars, destroyed 12 machine-gun points, 9 steam locomotives, 150 carriages and 800 enemy soldiers and officers. He died on April 10, 1976 in Poltava.

Great-grandfather of Khromushina Varvara. Vasily Fyodorovich was sent to the front in 1941 as a tankman. In one of the battles his tank was knocked out, it caught fire, and great-grandfather was seriously wounded, miraculously survived. He reached Berlin.
