Arkanov Efim Yakovlevich was born in 1906. Drafted by the Shirinsky District Military Commissariat in 1941. He fought as a corporal of the 263rd engineering regiment of the 27th army on the Stepnoy Front. Demobilized in 1945. He was awarded of the Order of Glory 3rd class, the Order of the Patriotic War 2nd class, the medals “For Combat Service”, “For Victory over Germany”. He worked as a worker in the Kongarovsky general store. Died in 1985.

The photo was sent from the front to relatives. My grandfather received the Order of Glory 3rd class. On the photo he was 19 years old.

Shvets Pavel Vasilievich was born in 1923. Drafted on July 9, 1942 by the Sarali military commissariat. He served as a First Sergeant of a company on the 1st Baltic Front, Army No.39, Separate Sapper Battalion No.121. He was wounded in 1944, 1945. He was awarded of the Order of Glory 3rd class, medals “For Courage”, “For Victory over Germany”, “For the Liberation of Warsaw”. Demobilized in 1946. He worked at the Kopyevsky state farm, lived in Kagaevo village.

Senior Sergeant. In Red Army since 1936. Participant of the Great Patriotic War since September 1942. Member of All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks. Had three wounds. Awarded the Medal "For Courage", the Order of Glory 3d class
