Order of the Patriotic war

Dzierzanowski Evgeny Ivanovich Evgeny Ivanovich Dzerzhanovsky was born on 14.12.1923. My grandfather was born in Poland. Later, the family moved to Moscow. I studied before the army. 27.10.1941 was drafted into the red Army by the Oktyabrsky RVC, Moscow. When the war began, he was not yet 18, and graduated from school on June 21, 1941. At the military enlistment office, where he came with a friend, saying that he was already 18, he was sent to the infantry. In the battle of Smolensk, he was seriously wounded. The command confirmed that the grandfather was killed and sent a Notification to the address. But, fortunately, the 17-year-old fighter survived, and a letter to his family came right after the "funeral". After treatment in the hospital, my grandfather went to study at the military infantry and mortar school, after which he was sent to the 1st Ukrainian front (110th guards rifle division). When crossing the Dnieper, he was seriously wounded at Kremenchug. Despite the second serious injury, grandfather, of course, again sought to go to the front, to protect our Homeland. By that time, he was already a senior Lieutenant, commander of a mortar company. In April 1945, the 865th regiment of the 271st Gorlovka division, (where he was the commander of the scouts), participated in the famous meeting on the Elbe. My grandfather fought until the end of the war...and even longer... On Victory Day, may 9, the war did not end for him because the fighting for Prague continued, where people died for another 6 days... ...they say That of those born in 1923, out of every hundred who went to the front, only three were left alive... my grandfather was lucky to stay. Among other household relics, there is also an article from an old front-line newspaper, which tells about his military exploits. Grandfather often met with his front-line friends, and on Victory Day he always wore his full-dress uniform. My grandfather rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and retired on 20.10.1972. Dadashov Jacob Bentsionovich_x000D_ _x000D_ Jacob bentsionovich Dadashov was born on 11 July 1922 in the city of Derbent. On June 21, 1941, he and his classmates were awarded their school graduation certificates. Happy graduates, inspired with hopes for a bright future, met the dawn on the shore of the Caspian sea.... But with the dawn of June 22, the threatening black clouds of war were moving over the country. The very next day, Yakov and his classmates were at the recruitment center of the Derbent District Commissariat. Full of a sincere desire to protect their families and country, they asked to send them immediately to the front as volunteers. But most of yesterday's graduates had to go through army training first. Yakov was also in this group. He was drafted into the red Army and sent to study at the higher artillery school in Tbilisi, after which in may 1942 he began his long military journey along the roads of war. Extract from the personal file of Lieutenant ya. b. Dadashev, commander of the fire platoon of the 687th artillery regiment, 236th rifle Dnepropetrovsk red banner order of Suvorov division: 01.05.1942-11.09.1943-Transcaucasian front. 11.09.1943-13.11.1943-treatment in hospital No. 1710. 13.11.1943 – 21.02.1944 – 3-th Ukrainian Front. 21.02.1944-19.03.1944-treatment in the infirmary. 19.03. 1944 – 30.01.1945 – 3-y Ukrainian front. 30.01.1945-seriously wounded, left for treatment in a hospital in Yugoslavia. In the photo taken in may 1945 in Budapest, on the chest of officer Yakov Dadashev, on the right side – two orders: the order of the Patriotic war and the Order of the red Star, and on the left – two medals: "for bravery" and "for the liberation of Belgrade". Each of these awards could have cost him his life. From premium sheet: Dadashev B. Ya. awarded the medal "for bravery" 14.10.43 for the following feat: "During the fighting at s. Taranovka Taranovsky district of Kharkiv region from 6 to 12.09.43 proved to be a persistent and responsible officer. A platoon under his command, reflecting the enemy's counterattacks, knocked out an enemy tank of the T - IV type. 16.09.43 in a battle near the village of lozovoe, Kegichevsky district, Kharkiv region, tov. Dadashev was wounded, but did not leave the battlefield until the combat mission was completed. For steadfastness and skilful command of a platoon in battles with the German-fascist invaders, Lieutenant Dadashev is presented to the government award." Order of the Patriotic war I degree awarded in February 1945. From the application for the award: "in the battles with the German-fascist invaders on 30.01.45 in the area of the village of Adand (Hungary-approx. 2) on the Northern Bank of the Yelusha canal, the enemy launched a counteroffensive, throwing up to 30 armored units at the battery. Leading the battle with a numerically superior enemy, Lieutenant Dadashev was at the direct-fire gun. A personal example of bravery, despising death, he opened fire on tanks. Enemy tanks began to withdraw, firing heavily, surrounding the battery. Having got into difficult conditions, Lieutenant Dadashev encouraged his subordinates with his courage and, despite being seriously wounded, continued to command without leaving the battlefield. The guns of his platoon hit 3 tanks and 2 armored personnel carriers." And again, after treatment at the hospital Jacob bentsionovich insisted on returning to his unit. He did not want, but simply could not, this brave Lieutenant to leave his comrades alone, without his reliable commander and friendly shoulder next to them, risking their lives in battles with the enemy. And there was another Order of the red Star, which Jacob bentsionovich was awarded for the successful execution of command assignments behind enemy lines. And there was the medal "for the liberation of Belgrade". And it was the long-awaited Victory Day – the "joy with tears in your eyes"! This great day he met in a small town in the vicinity of Vienna, through which lay his way from another hospital to his military unit. On the eighth of may, at about eleven o'clock in the evening, the local military commandant's office sent him and another officer to spend the night with a local German woman. We got there and went to bed after midnight. No sooner had they fallen asleep than they heard the numerous sounds of gunfire from the street. The first thing that came to mind – "really fascists"? Hastily dressed, they ran out into the street ready to resist the enemy. But they were their own-our soldiers fired into the air and shouts of "Victory" along with automatic bursts exploded and deafened the night silence.... It was an unspeakable surge of joy and all sorts of emotions! The war was over-there were peaceful days ahead. In November 1948, Yakov married a nice girl from Buinaksk, Babaeva Rebekah. Together they raised three daughters. And the great Victory Day was celebrated in the family of Yakov and Rebekah with special attention and joy, in the family circle-children, grandchildren ,great-grandchildren, relatives. In their family album there is a wonderful photo of Yakov in a military uniform, which is already 75 years old! In may 1945, returning home on the roads of Europe, a young officer decided to take a photo for memory. It was in Budapest. The photographer could not immediately produce a photo, and Yakov Bencionovich could not wait for it – he was not yet demobilized and had to follow the instructions of the command. He left his home address to the photographer. And imagine, a few months later, in Derbent, to the address of his home, Kandelaki street, 8, came this photo! You can tell a lot about Yakov's work biography in bright colors! In all the places and posts where he exerted his strength and skill, he was respected and highly valued! And it is not for nothing that Yakov bencionovich ended his working career, having worked for 16 years as the Chairman of the Voluntary Fire Society of Dagestan. Yakov benzionovich throughout his life has earned deep respect not only from relatives and friends, but also from everyone with whom he had to communicate on the long path of life! His life can not be called boring-in addition to the military military, family and labor trends of his fate, he had and still has many Hobbies! The main one is chess battles. There was a time when he won a lot of victories not only in games with friends, but also participating in chess Championships. From a letter from the writer Mikhail Dadashev to Yakov Dadashev: "I must admit that your unexpected call from far away America (Yakov benzionovich now lives in the United States) brought me such joy that it is simply impossible to convey. Thank you very much for being alive and well, for the joy of all of us - your relatives. This call evoked a flood of memories in me: we are at the chessboard in Izberga, at the championship between Derbent and Izberbash...". In this family branch of the mighty ancient family tree of the Dadashevs, there were still participants in this great war, those who "brought victory as close As they could"! Yaakov's father, Benzion Dadashev Rubinovich, went to war against the Nazi enemy in July 1941. He was no longer young, but for some time participated in heavy fighting as a Rifleman of the 131st separate rifle battalion. Then, as a medic, he carried the soldiers out of the battlefield, giving them first aid. In addition, Ben Tzion Rubinovich, in the days of war had to work on a military field kitchen. He was discharged only on January 13, 1946. Mother of Jacob, Avgol, during the war almost all the time worked in the hospital as a nurse that has been deployed in Derbent. Before the war, she was in charge of the health center of a garment factory. Sometimes she would run home only to bring food rations to the younger children, daughter rose and sons, Hanukh and Ruvin. Yakov's older brother, Emmanuel benzionovich, was drafted into the Red Army in 1940 and served most of the great Patriotic War in the far East. There was some important fortified area against the Japanese militarists. For a time, he studied (and then taught) at the military infantry school. In 1943, while already in the European part of the theater of operations as a commander of a small machine-gun squad, Emmanuel benzionovich was wounded. After the hospital, with the rank of senior Sergeant, he served in a training rifle regiment, and then as the head of the food echelon that supplied our combat units in Yugoslavia and Hungary. Emmanuel bencionovich was demobilized at the end of September 1945.

Dzhanchatov Mos Mahmudovich_x000D_ _x000D_ Dzhanchatov Mos Mahmudovich was born in the village of Khakurinokhable on April 16, 1020. The date of his birth, as he recalled, came out later (district registry office began operations only in 1923) from granary books our neighbor Aslanbeka of Simatovic Kakurinov, record dates of birth and death of village inhabitants. Like his peers, Mos graduated from the seven-year school, FZU, worked as a wood Turner at the Maykop timber-processing plant, as a typesetter at the Adygnatsizdat printing house. After returning to a single mother, he got a job as a controller of the savings Bank, was an inspector of the Central Bank, Secretary of the court session. He was called up for service in the Army in October 1940. His path ran from his native village to Kuibyshevka-Vostochnaya (now Belogorsk, Amur region). From there, he was sent deep into the taiga for harvesting business wood and for firing raw bricks. And then the war broke out. MoE and his countrymen, Carlby Chewchew, Rajib meretukov, Pak Apahov, Gerakan Urakov, Nalby Threads Canceri Chetaev and others learned about it from his Commissioner Chernyshova: "Today, June 22 at 4 am, violating the non-aggression agreement..." They began to file mass reports about sending to the front. But it was almost a year before Mos got to the front line. He received his baptism of fire on may 5, 1942 near the village of Krasnoe in the Oryol region. During the bloody battles, his 74th rifle division was destined to become legendary. In December 1942, it took up defensive positions near the town of Livny. And at the end of January 1943, the breakthrough of the enemy's defense began. The fighting spirit and faith in the victory of the soldiers and officers made it possible to advance 400 kilometers and move to the Orel area. With heavy losses in manpower, the Oryol region was also liberated. This battle gave a new impetus to offensive actions and restore the morale of the soldiers. In mid-July 1943, the grandiose offensive on the Kursk bulge began. Mosa's mortar crew cut through enemy positions without respite. "All the mortar men in my squad," Mos said, " were presented with orders and medals, and I received the order of the red Star. As a result of the counteroffensive, the 74th rifle division, together with other units, liberated the city of zmiyevka. As it turned out, the enemies managed to level the railway station of the same name with the ground. The battle of Oryol-Kursk, in which the Mos took part, was the largest in its significance after the battle of Stalingrad. In this nightmarish hell, he could not yet imagine that this was the beginning of his victorious soldier's path, which would lead to the small Austrian town of Bruck. The legendary 74th rifle division reached the banks of the Desna river and liberated Chernihiv. The division received an order from the Supreme commander-in-Chief to liberate Kiev on November 6 and hold a solemn meeting on November 7 in honor of the 26th anniversary of the Great October. The order was executed. In December 1943, the city of Bila Tserkva was also liberated by storm. For participation in the Korsun-Shevchenko operation, Mos was awarded the order of the Patriotic war II degree. And at the end of March 1944, the soldiers of the 74th rifle division reached the state border of Romania, liberated Yugoslavia, Hungary and Austria. Here Mos saw the hopeless confusion of the Germans, here the last defending Hitlerite dropped the machine gun and raised his hands. "It was a victory," Mos said – " that I and my comrades-in-arms went to for 1,100 days and nights. By orders of the Supreme commander-in-Chief Stalin, thanks were given to Mosu for the liberation of the cities of Bila Tserkva and Belgrade, the breakthrough of the defense, and the successful crossing of the Prut river. He was wounded three times, concussed. Many of those around mos knew that, risking his life, he deliberately went into the thick of it, not on command, but at the behest of a soldier's duty. This soldier's duty "extended" his term of service as part of the contingent of Soviet troops in Romania until mid-1946. The harsh years of the war reminded Moscow of itself once again, when the order of the Patriotic war of the first degree was awarded to him in honor of the 49th anniversary of the great Victory.

He was born into a poor peasant family. In 1912, Semyon's parents Mikhail Filippovich and Maria Minaevna moved from the village of Takhty in the Stavropol territory to the village of Irinovka in Kazakhstan, where they lived and worked all their lives, acquiring a second homeland. After finishing primary school in Irinovka, young Senya entered and attended high school in the district center of Urjar. In connection with the shortage of teachers, the education Department of the district appointed a 10-grader Seeds Derevyanko, like student learning, teacher, place middle school, and two years later head of the educational part of the irinovskaya school. At the same time, a young teacher Derevyanko Sm, along with adult farmers, worked in Irinovka in the collective farm "New life". In January 1941, an 18-year-old boy was drafted into the Red Army by the Urdzhar district military Commissariat of the Semipalatinsk region and enlisted as a red army soldier in the 49th tank brigade in the city of Stanislav in Ukraine. As a young, educated, grasping and agile red army tankman, Semyon Mikhailovich Derevyanko quickly mastered the Suvorov "science of winning", comprehended the formidable technique-the tank, its weapons, so as to hit the enemy without a miss, and in the simplicity of his soul helped his fellow comrades in mastering the tactical and technical data of the tank. Here, in this city, he was caught by the war with Nazi Germany, which turned and crossed out all his plans and dreams, changed the fate of a person. In August 1941, the command of the tank brigade sent a tankman Sm. Derevyanko, as an excellent student of combat training in the military officer school in Nizhny Novgorod (Gorky city), where for about a year he studied at the radio Telegraph Department. But, shortly before the end of the accelerated course of training, in 1942, cadet Derevyanko was seconded to the Kalinin front, where he fought as part of the 1st guards tank brigade under the command of the famous major General of the tank forces M. E. Katukov. Young red army tankman Semyon Derevyanko in 1942, while on the Kalinin front, learned a lot from the guards, especially in the battles near the city of Bely, where there were fierce battles with Hitler's troops. This combat experience was useful to him in further battles to beat the enemy in the guards, especially on the Kursk bulge. In 1941-1942, after the expulsion of the Nazis from the territory of the Kalinin and Moscow regions, in January-February 1943, the 1st tank army was formed, which included the 64th tank brigade, where Semyon Derevyanko served. - The tank army arrived at the Kursk bulge, - tankman Derevyanko recalls, - from the reserve of the Supreme high command headquarters from the North-West near Kursk, where it was located on the Psel river in the second echelon after the 6th guards army of General I. M. Chistyakov, as part of the Voronezh front. The 1st tank army was assigned a combat task by the higher command: to defeat the advancing German-fascist troops in the Belgorod direction. As expected, early in the morning on July 5, 1943, the enemy launched an offensive on the Kursk bulge according to the "Citadel" plan. Against the 6th guards army and the 1st tank army in our defense zone, the 48th tank corps under the command of the experienced and treacherous General Manstein led the offensive. "For ten days and nights, our 64th tank brigade, like the entire tank army," recalls S. M. Derevyanko, " fought fierce, persistent defensive battles with a powerful strong enemy. But I especially remember the tank battles in the area of the city of Yakovlevo in the Kursk (now Belgorod) region, where literally there were duels between our and German tanks at close range. Tanks were ablaze from shell bursts, and the ground was on fire. The sky was black, the clanking of tank tracks and the roar of shells made the tankmen deaf, but they, despising death, bravely fought for their Homeland, defending every inch of their land. — The complexity of tank battles was also in the fact, - adds the brave tankman Semyon Derevyanko, - that the Nazis used new tanks "Tigers" and "Panthers", which had powerful armor and weapons. For example, the Tiger tank had 80 mm armor, and 100 mm in the frontal part, and was armed with an 88 mm gun that could penetrate the armor of the main Soviet tanks. Our tank shells did not penetrate the armor of German tanks, so we had to shoot only sub-caliber shells, and they were extremely lacking, since our industry was just mastering the production of these shells. However, our tankers managed to get into the vulnerable places of German tanks, through the viewing slots and at close range to disable them. And only on July 16, our troops forced the enemy to go on the defensive in stubborn battles. After a short respite, a tankman from Kazakhstan of the 64th tank brigade of the 1st tank army, Semyon Derevyanko, bravely fought the enemy for almost the entire month of July, knocked out two German tanks, and completed his combat mission. For bravery, fortitude and skill in the battle of Yakovlev, the command of the 64th tank brigade awarded S. M. Derevyanko the military rank of senior Sergeant and awarded him the medal "for bravery". "This was my first and therefore my most expensive award," he said. A great and memorable event in the life of a front-line tankman S. M. Derevyanko was his meeting 30 years later with the citizens of the city of Yakovlevo, which he was liberating from the Nazis. This meeting of tankmen of the 64th tank brigade resulted in a big and joyful city holiday of citizens and their liberators, which had a great educational value for the younger generation. Semyon Mikhailovich was invited to this meeting by the former commander of the 64th tank brigade, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, retired Colonel I. N. Boyko, whose Derevyanko was the head of the radio station. There was no end to their joy. At this exciting, unforgettable meeting, he also met and talked for the first time in 30 years with his fellow soldier in the brigade I. T. Efremov, with whom they fought together on the Kursk bulge, and then, without parting, reached Berlin, experiencing the bitterness of defeats and the joy of victories. The battle of Kursk did not end with a battle biography for the tankman S. M. Derevyanko, he and his glorious 64 tank brigade and 1 tank army, which in subsequent operations served as a sword that cut through the enemy's grouping, passed the battle path from the Kursk salient to Berlin, where he signed on the Reichstag! As part of the 1st Ukrainian front (former Voronezh), combat tankman S. Derevyanko liberated the cities of Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Chertkov, Chernivtsi, crossed the Dniester, bug, San, Vistula rivers, participated in the battles on the Sandomierz bridgehead, stormed the Seelow heights in Germany. For successful battles with Hitler's troops, the 1st tank army was renamed the 1st guards tank army on April 25, 1944, which has a certain contribution from our countryman-Kazakhstani S. M. Derevyanko. "Once to my tank crew," S. M. recalls. Derevyanko — - the command set a combat task: to force the Dniester river under water, to break in from the North of the railway station of Chernivtsi, to seize a bridgehead, to take control of the station and prevent the departure of German echelons with equipment and people to the West. A brigade and a tank army followed the crew across the river. The assigned combat task for the crew was completed successfully. For this feat, Semyon Derevyanko was awarded the order of the red Star by the command of the 64th tank brigade and appointed commander of a tank platoon. And here is how the city of Chertkov in the Ternopil region was liberated, says S. Derevyanko: "at dawn on March 23, 1944, our 64th tank brigade suddenly approached the city for the enemy, rapidly attacked the fascists so that they did not even understand where such a breakthrough of the tankers came from. As a result of a short but fierce battle with the enemy, the city of Chertkov was liberated from the Nazis. Citizens warmly and cordially thanked the tankers for their liberation from German slavery." In 1976, war veteran Semyon Mikhailovich Derevyanko was lucky enough to attend a meeting of war veterans with the residents of this city. — With what great joy, - recalls Semyon Mikhailovich, - the war veterans saw the huge changes that took place on the liberated Ukrainian land: many new buildings were built: residential buildings, hospitals, schools, kindergartens, cultural centers, cinemas… War veterans visited factories, construction sites, fields of the Progress collective farm, and livestock farms. And everywhere they were welcomed as relatives. Especially exciting were the meetings of the tank driver-teacher with school students, to whom he told about the war, about the exploits of the front-line soldiers. Victory day — may 9, 1945 - the commander of the guard company, senior Lieutenant S. M. Derevyanko, met in the defeated Berlin for treatment in the sanitary part of the brigade after two wounds in the battles for Berlin. In the battle for the capture of Berlin guards senior Lieutenant S. M. Derevyanko was awarded the medal "for military merit", the certificate of command of the 1st guards tank army and received a commendation from the Supreme Commander of the country. Almaty section of participants in the assault and capture of Berlin, where Sm. Derevyanko, annually celebrates may 2 as the day of the capture of Berlin, as a great celebration of the Victory of our troops and as a tribute to the memory of fallen soldiers in the fight against Nazi Germany. In December 1945, tank officer S. M. Derevyanko was discharged from the army as a specialist teacher and returned to his native village of Irinovka in the Semipalatinsk region. Already in March 1946, he was appointed head teacher of the irinovskaya secondary school, and in 1948 became its Director. When in 1957 he became the headmaster of Urjar secondary school, he also showed a positive side in this field. On the recommendation of the Ministry of education of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic, Semyon Derevyanko was transferred to Alma-ATA in 1971 and appointed Director of secondary school No. 52. At this school, he worked as a principal for about thirty years. Semyon Mikhailovich has a total teaching experience of more than 60 years. That's really someone to take an example from. It is characteristic that S. M. Derevyanko not only taught and educated the younger generation, but also studied himself. In 1952, he successfully graduated from the pedagogical Institute, and in 1954 from the Kazakh State University on-the-job. He also constantly worked on himself in order to keep up with the modern requirements of pedagogy, to be above his subordinates in order to successfully lead the school team. S. M. Derevyanko was awarded the order of the red banner of Labor for many years of conscientious work and skilful upbringing of the young generation. Is it a worthy addition to the three medals and 18 medals. Semyon Mikhailovich has the title of Honorary teacher of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic school and was awarded a diploma Of the Supreme Council of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic and a diploma of an Honorary citizen of Almaty.

Zhetpisbaev Baltabek_x000D_ _x000D_ Rank: Major. Branch of service: army, air force (except marine aviation), the coast guard, the troops of the NKVD border troops. Division: 8th guards rifle Rezhitskaya order of Lenin red banner order of Suvorov division named after I. V. Panfilov. Baltabek Dzhetpysbayev was born in 1907 to a peasant family in the village of Murat Zhana-semeysky district of Semipalatinsk region. A career soldier who was drafted into the army in 1931, his father graduated from the Tashkent military school. Fought with the robber bands, and was included in the Book of honor of SAVO. Since the formation of the division, he was the Komsomol of the 1075th rifle regiment, which was glorified by 28 Panfilov guards. On October 15, 1941, in the first battle with the Germans near Moscow, he was the first to hit an enemy tank. This was a feat in itself, since the armored vehicles that poured machine-gun fire on everything were disconcerting to the untrained soldiers. For three days the company held back the enemy, who were striving to Volokolamsk, and from there – to Moscow. For these and other fighting Baltabek of Zhetpisbaev was awarded the order of the red Star. And on July 23, 1942, the command of the 8th guards division presented him with the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for special courage and bravery. He himself did not know about this idea and fought until the end of the war: liberated Belarus, Lithuania, fought in Prussia, participated in the storming of Konigsberg. After the victory, he was sent to the Japanese war. He stayed in Pyongyang for two more years as part of the troops in North Korea. He was discharged in 1947 for years of service with the rank of major in the guards. In military conditions, the submission to the title of Hero of the Soviet Union did not get to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner. In 1959. it was accidentally discovered in the archive of the USSR Ministry of defense. Three times (1961, 1967, 1971). the Central Committee of the CP of Kazakhstan petitioned the Supreme Soviet of the Union to award Baltabek Jetpisbayev the high title of Hero of the Soviet Union. Dimash Akhmedovich Kunaev sent a personal letter to Brezhnev, but the issue was never resolved positively. In August 1971, Baltabek Jetpisbayev died.

Danielyan Smbat (Symban) Melikovich_x000D_ _x000D_ Rank: Colonel. Danielyan Smbat (Symban) Melikovich. In the magazine of the Central Committee of the Communist party of Lithuania "Events and time" No. 14, July 1982 (index 76787), an article was published by retired Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Ryabov "Feat of the Neman" about three military generations of the Danielyan family: grandfather-Colonel, Danielyan Smbat Melikovich, father-Lieutenant Colonel, Danielyan Norayr Sumbatovich, brother-major, Danielyan Sumbat Norayrovich. Here is an excerpt from this article concerning my grandfather.... "I often visit the most beautiful corner-close and dear to the heart of every Alytus. An obelisk with an enlarged order of the Patriotic war is attached to it. On the sides of the obelisk are massive bronze plates with words in Lithuanian and Russian that are etched into the memory: "Glory to the immortal deeds, glory to the fallen heroes! Around eleven blue fir trees symbolizing the feat of soldiers of the 11th guards army who liberated the city. And the original decorative fence. All this is a crown of heroism, a tribute to love and respect for the soldiers of the war. Right next to the obelisk, the graves of the dead. I read their names: "Guards Lieutenant V. Kalinin, private A. Tikhonenko, Colonel S. Danielyan" and dozens of other names. I was particularly interested in Colonel S. Danielyan. I wanted to find out where the front roads brought him to our region, what feat he performed in the name of people's lives on the banks of the Nemunas? The search lasted about three years and was crowned with success: documents were obtained from the archives, meetings were held, exciting conversations with the son and grandson of the Colonel… Soviet power in Baku was proclaimed on the sixth day of the revolutionary coup in Petrograd. On December 16, under the chairmanship of V. I. Lenin, the Council of people's Commissars discussed the situation in Transcaucasia. It was decided to appoint a member of the Central Committee of the RSDLP(b), Chairman of the Baku Council Stepan Georgievich Shaumyan as temporary Extraordinary Commissioner for the Caucasus, until the formation of Soviet power in the region. From Petrograd to Tiflis, where the Caucasian regional Committee of the RSDLP(b) was located, S. A. Ter-Petrosyan (Kamo) delivered a mandate signed by V. I. Lenin to Shaumyan. Going from Baku to Tiflis alone for Shaumyan is a risky business. Comrades called the names of fellow travelers. Someone said: - Sumbat Danielyan is the most suitable candidate. - This, you know, somehow does not fit together: an officer of the tsarist army accompanies the Extraordinary Commissar. He can also escort you to security. The audience laughed, and S. Shaumyan became interested: And who is this fine? - Recently returned from the Turkish front. Originally from the Armenian village of Chardakhly. He is twenty-two years old. He is an energetic and fearless person. One of the first in the army to go over to the side of the revolution. We decided to take a roundabout trip through the high mountains and deep gorges of the lesser Caucasus range. On January 17, 1918, the travelers reached Chardakhly safely. - You are now on Betaking? Twenty versts along mountain paths and gorges. And there are bandits all over the road. "But there is no other route," Shaumyan said. They came up with an idea: they staged a wedding trip. Sumbat Danielyan, a slim, fit and young officer, really looked like a groom. The" planted father "Stepan Shaumyan rode in the midst of the "wedding" motorcade. In those years, the young country of the Soviets from all the suburbs, like cockroaches from the cracks, climbed enemies. In the spring of 1918, the Turks attacked. And a horseman with a sword on a dashing horse flashed by on the banks of Sevan. Sumbat led his cavalry into battle. In one of the fights, he was seriously wounded. Having linked his fate with the red Army, Sumbat Melikovich goes through a glorious path from squadron commander to battalion, and in the pre-war years teaches at military schools in Transcaucasia, in Alma-ATA and Dnepropetrovsk. great Patriotic war. Communist Danielyan goes to the front. He is appointed commander of the 38th separate rifle brigade. This happened near Moscow, during the most difficult days for the capital. The brigade commander has his place in battle. But sometimes the situation develops so that the senior chief, along with the soldiers, goes into the heat of battle. So it was on the near approaches to the capital. Units of the neighboring unit retreated. Kombat Danielyan received an order: to hold the Germans in this area, and then knock them out of defense and wedge into the enemy's battle lines. The first offensive of the brigade's soldiers was unsuccessful. That's when the battalion commander gave the order to take out the Banner. With a group of submachine gunners and Riflemen, he rushed forward. The commander of the Kalinin front, Colonel-General I. S. Konev, presented Danielyan for the award, wrote: "In the battles, the brigade commander personally led the attack of the fighters, showing bravery, perseverance and decisive actions. As a result of this attack, the battle order was executed: the enemy was stopped, knocked out of defense and put to flight. Eight localities were liberated and many trophies were taken. For exemplary performance of a combat mission, for bravery and courage, I present to the award-the order of the red banner." Sumbat Danielyan was awarded the order in which he commanded, and was awarded the honorary title of the guards. War is war. Recently, the brigade commander and his soldiers were honored with a victory near Moscow, and the Sovinformburo reports already reported: "in the area of Mozdok, the soldiers of S. Danielyan's unit repulsed several enemy attacks during the day, destroying seven tanks to two hundred Hitlerites." Some time later, he distinguished himself in the defense of the city of Ordzhonikidze. The soldiers of Danielyan's unit overturned the Nazis with a strong counterattack. In this battle, the commander was twice wounded. He would have left the battlefield after the first wound, but he continued to lead his subordinates, inspiring them to the feat, and remained at his post until he fell from the second wound. He didn't like to spend too much time in hospitals. And soon, his name and deeds were heard in the cities and villages of Belarus and Lithuania. Confidently, he led the guards in the offensive to the West. After the war, the former commander of the 11th guards army, General of the army Hero of the Soviet Union Kuzma Nikitovich Galiysky will write the following lines about the brave commander: "...After conducting reconnaissance, the advanced battalions began to force. But it was still slow, as the enemy from the West Bank met the crossing units with heavy fire. Then Colonel S. M. Danielyan with the division's artillery commander and a group of staff officers went to the river. All the guns and mortars were moved here. Powerful volleys they suppressed a significant part of the enemy points. Under cover of artillery fire, the crossing resumed." The second order of the red banner was added to the military awards of Sumbat Melikovich. On July 19, 1944 in the life of the commander of the division was a joyful, exciting event: the commander of the third Belorussian front hero of the Soviet Union army General Ivan Danilovich Chernyakhovsky on behalf of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR awarded the order of the red banner, the Colonel Danielyan - the Patriotic war, first degree. Hundreds of soldiers and commanders were awarded high government awards. Sumbat Melikovich wrote to his wife: "Dear Araxia, We continue to fight with the Left. He's already a senior Lieutenant. Together with all we are driving the enemy to the West. We will soon win and return home, never to part with you again. What have you heard about Norika? What front is he fighting on? Take care of yourself and wait for us... " And a week and a half later, a letter from military friends and comrades-in-arms was sent to Baku from Simias: "Dear Araksia Martirosova! We, comrades of the guards of Colonel Danielyan Sumbat Melikovich, Express our deep condolences on the untimely death of your husband. Together with You, we mourn and bow our heads over the ashes of our beloved commander, under whose leadership we passed a difficult but glorious military path..."it Happened on July 30 at 14: 30. Early in the morning, he went to the observation post, where he watched the battle. NP was located in a small house of a peasant of the Aleksandras of Rutkauskas, who lived near the village Melaleuca. The circumstances forced us to resort to this option: there was a bare field all around - no hillock, no tree, no shrub. At 13 o'clock, the Germans, quite unexpectedly, began to shell the house. Maybe it was generosity, kindheartedness, or maybe a burst of courage that called him closer to the battlefield. Only he did not want the war to leave the peasant homeless. And the Colonel decided to move to the division's command post. After thanking Lutkauskas, he went to the checkpoint in a car with his son Levon and staff officers. Two kilometers East of Simnas, they were attacked by six enemy Focke-Wulf-190 dive bombers. A bomb exploded near the car, was killed Sumbat the M. and Lavon is seriously injured. (He died of his wounds shortly after the victory). The comrades-in-arms finished their letter with these words: "The sad news of the commander's death quickly spread through the battle lines of the units. Guards with a cry of: "Avenge the enemy for the death of the commander" rose in a rapid attack. By the morning of the next day, we had driven the Germans 25 kilometers West of Simnas. Araksia Martirosova! We, the companions and followers of the military cause of Sumbat Melikovich, promise You to beat the hated enemy with even greater force and avenge him irrepressibly and mercilessly." The guards kept their word: they fought hundreds of kilometers to Konigsberg. They stormed the fortress and hoisted the battle guards banner over the capital of East Prussia. It should be noted here that Levon Smbatovich Danielyan, the son of Colonel Smbat Danielyan's guards, also participated in the initial period of the battle for the Caucasus. Commander of the air defense platoon of the 68th marine rifle brigade of the 18th army, chief petty officer Danielyan L. S. in the battles from July 26 to October 4, 1942 in the area of the village of Kuleshovka, Peshkovo and Kura-Tsipe, not only shot down 2 enemy aircraft " Messerschmitt -110 "and one" Junkers-87", but with his DShK machine gun repelled a seeping group of enemy submachine gunners in the area of the brigade's command post. For these feats, the brave soldier was awarded the order of the red Star by the order of the commander of the black sea group of troops of the Transcaucasian front No. 044/n of November 5, 1942. In 1944, on the first Baltic front, he was an aide-de-camp to his father, Colonel S. M. Danielyan.

Alexey Konstantinovich Dolzhikov_x000D_ _x000D_ Rank: Second Lieutenant military branch: Land forces, air force (except naval aviation), coast service, NKVD troops, border guard Unit: 219th rifle Idritskaya red banner division My great-grandfather Alexey Dolzhikov was born on March 23, 1924 in the village of Rogovatoe, Starooskolsky district, Belgorod region. I would like the Heroes to be known not only by their names, but also to know their exploits, to recognize them by sight, which is why I want to tell you the story of my great-grandfather, to share his memories, which we fortunately managed to record and save.- Grandfather, tell me about the war, - I persisted and persistently asked to remember the events of the past years. There were many things I didn't understand at the time, but questions flowed in a steady stream. I'll sit on my grandfather's lap and whisper softly:"Tell me, dear grandfather, and I will be silent!" I will listen to everything you want to tell me, And I will not turn around and interrupt! I want to hear about the war, how you fought, how in a battle so far away you saved the banner! Tell us about your military friends and grandfather. And in the album yellowed photo show! He smiled at his grandfather's grandson and hugged him to his chest:"I'll tell you all about it, of course, since I promised!" How we survived the war, how we went to our deaths, how many miles we traveled in mud and dust! As the enemy with fights we drove from our native land, we did not give up an inch - we survived, we could!"On February 7, 1943, I was called up by the Shatalovsky RVC to join the red army. He put on a soldier's greatcoat and went to war, to fight for his native land, on which the enemy German foot had set foot. My combat career began in the training battalion of the 169th rifle reserve regiment. After taking the oath on February 23, 1943, he joined the newly formed company for training scouts. We came to the village of Velikaya Pisarevka, Sumy region. Night. About 12 o'clock the captain comes running and says: «Alarm». They formed up and began to withdraw to Belgorod. We came to Tomarovka on March 18. Belgorod was already occupied by enemy tank forces. We then go to Oboyan in the morning. They came to Oboyan, handed over their weapons, ate, spent the night, and went to Prokhorovka. Spent the night - on the Crust. And classes go with us (platoon commanders, departments). From Korcha we reached Stary Oskol. On March 22, 1943, the Kursk bulge was formed. The command was replaced. Vatutin was appointed instead of Golikov, Malinovsky instead of Vatutin, and Talbukhin instead of Malinovsky. After three months of training as a Sergeant, he was sent to a platoon of foot reconnaissance of the 375th regiment of the 219th idritskaya rifle division of the 40th army of the Voronezh front, which took part in the battle of Kursk from 11.07.43. During the battle of Kursk, I remember almost every battle, but you can't describe or tell everything. The summer of 1943 was to be a "moment of truth" for both us and the Nazis. Either the Red Army will be able to finally seize the offensive initiative and defeat the most powerful German group since the beginning of the war, or the enemy will again be able to overturn our troops, as it did two summers in a row, and Moscow will be under threat for the second time during the war. In defense, we stood in front of the New Berezovka Rakityansky district. At the sugar factory in the forest, we were divided into three parts: combined arms, scouts and mortars. I got into a group of scouts. Several times I went on a mission, the purpose of which was to get the language in any way. Once, we managed to capture 8 people of the military guard at once. A rare case! If you tell anyone, they won't believe you! After that, I was put on an observation post in front of Novaya Berezovka. I had to carefully observe everything that was happening around me, register and report the situation to headquarters in the evening. It was necessary to find out what movement the enemy was making as they prepared to attack. On July 5, when the enemy went on the offensive, our division was withdrawn from the defense. A March was made in the direction of Oboyan, and on July 8, the division arrived in the village of Novenkoe in the Ivnyansky district. 3-4km South-West of the village of Novenkoe there is a Thick tract that was occupied by the enemy. The division, transferred to the 6th guards army, took its first battle on July 9. The first fight… Our regiment is ordered to " stand to the death." Bombers appear. They drop bombs on our rear and move on. We managed to destroy one of the enemy planes. At the time of the appearance of the aircraft, German tanks and infantry attacked. At one kilometer, the number of tanks reached a hundred or more. Two walls were moving towards each other. We were supported, as it turned out later, by 14 "Katyushas", which gradually approached our place. They were only beaten with termite, which instantly ignited everything. The first attack was repulsed. After that, about thirty minutes later, the bombers again flew, after which the tanks reappear. A Volley Of "Katyusha". The attack is repulsed. And so four attacks. The order to "withdraw"followed. We, as scouts, went ahead. The enemy conducted continuous offensive battles, but could not advance to Oboyan. After 15 days of continuous fighting, there were 6-8 men left in the companies. But the village, we have New released! In July, 1943, when the Red Army led an offensive in the Kursk-Oryol direction. And now a monument to the soldiers-liberators of our 219th rifle division, who gave their lives for the liberation of the village, has been erected in the Tolstoe tract. On July 26, we were replaced by the troops of the Steppe front, and our division was transferred to the Kalinin front. On September 16, 1943, he was slightly wounded. Recovered quickly. And fight again! My great-grandfather Alexey Dolzhikov was awarded the Order of the red Star for his courage and bravery in the fight against the enemy, for his work in training the platoon personnel, and for the fact that the platoon did not have a single case of violation of discipline during the March.
