Последнее фото кабардинского поэта Али Шогенцукова перед уходом на фронт. Вскоре после ухода на фронт Али попал в плен и погиб 29 ноября 1941 г. в немецком концлагере под г. Бобруйском Белорусской ССР. Слева направо: жена Шайдат, дочь Лена, сын Лиуан, младший сын Михаил (Мухамед), Али и младшая дочь Тая. Осень 1941 г.

Чабдаров Ибрагим Базаевич, уроженец Черекского района КБР, летчик-испытатель 1-го класса, Заслуженный летчик-испытатель СССР. В период Великой Отечественной войны произвел 219 боевых вылетов, провел 51 воздушный бой, сбил 3 самолета лично и 3 в группе самолетов. После войны, за 25 лет работы в области лётных испытаний и исследований новой авиационной техники, совершил около 6500 вылетов на новых сверхзвуковых машинах, испытал 2400 истребителей «ЯК-9», «МИГ-15», «МИГ-17», «МИГ-19», «МИГ-21». И.Б. Чабдаров награждён орденами Отечественной войны II степени, Красной Звезды, медалями.
