Image: The commander of the 2nd battalion, Major Tychinin, a young talented artillery officer, was brave and courageous in battle. As a communist, he always knew his place in battle and was ahead. For courage and valour he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner and the Order of the Patriotic War. The death of the brave died in an offensive battle in the Lipyanka region; 11 km south of Ostrolenok. On September 6, 1944, the regiment personnel took leave of their comrade in three volleys from 24 guns at the German invaders.
