After this battle, he was transferred to Ukraine, participated in the capture of the Brest bridgehead as a mortarman, crew commander. As part of the 373 rifle division, he participated in the liberation of Poland, reached Berlin. From the walls of Berlin, the division was transported to Czechoslovakia. He met Victory Day in Prague. Then the division was returned to the Lvov region (Western Ukraine) to eliminate the Bandera gangs. Demobilized in May 1946 with the rank of junior lieutenant. Awarded: 2 commendations for the liberation of Belgorod and Kharkov (from Commander-in-Chief IV Stalin), Order of the Patriotic War 1 degree, Medal "For Courage", Medal "For Victory over Germany "And a number of jubilee medals. He died on May 14, 1999.
