Nikolai Alekseevich Sulimenko was born on June 22, 1923 in the Krasnodar Territory, Abinsky District, Vorobiev farm. Before the war, the family moved to the village of Dinskaya. In 1940 he graduated from 8 classes. The main civilian specialty was an electrical fitter. He was drafted into active military service on December 10, 1941. In December 1941-March 1942 he was Cadet of the Vladivostok Military Infantry School. He took the oath on February 23, 1942. He was Senior Seargeant Mortar Commander of Mortar 82 mm and 120 mm mortars. -Нe had been a participant of the Second World War since 1942: Central Front.
