Mustafin Hasan Mustafich_x000D_ _x000D_ DATE OF BIRTH: 03/20/1899 _x000D_ DATE OF DEATH: 01/21/1989_x000D_ _x000D_ My grandfather, Mustafin Hasan Mustafich, was born and raised in the Blagoveshchensk region of the republic Bashkiria. As a young boy, he was drafted back in 1919 into the ranks of the Red Army, served in a separate brigade of the Bashkir division, was stationed from Novgorod to Batumi. He was demobilized in 1922. _x000D_ 19 years later, in December 1941, he was drafted into the ranks of the Red Army to fight against Nazi Germany at 2nd and 3rd Belorussian fronts. He served in 716th Infantry Regiment, 157th Infantry Division on the western front. In February 1943 he was seriously wounded. After recovering, he returned to his rifle unit and took part in capture of Königsberg, on 09/04/10/04-11/04 1945. _x000D_ “After the battle, I was instructed to arrange a mass grave in the middle of the city of Konigsberg, near the church (church),” said my grandfather. “Gathering those killed during the assault approximately 90 people were buried in one mass-grave. "_x000D_ In the combat for the settlements of Zaskredze-Lyakhovo, Longhmnsky district of Poland on 23/01/24/01 1945 and Maitynen Ovayden, East Prussia on 26/01 1945, he perfectly organized the personnel of the company to perform combat missions. The skillful deployment of personnel and the correct choice of firing positions ensured the successful performance of the rifle companies, precisely adjusting the fire of the company mortars, suppressed up to six enemy firing points and up to an infantry platoon. _x000D_ After the end of the war, he left the territory of Germany for Russia. He was deployed to the Chernigov region in the town of Gorodnya, from where he was demobilized in 1946 with the rank of Senior Lieutenant in the reserve. _x000D_ In the post-war peacetime he worked in the national economy. From January 1953 to August 1961, he worked as Chairman of the kolkhoz named after I. Karl Marx in Nurimanovsky district. Being born in 1899, he continued working until 1975. A village boy with 4 grade education had grown to a Senior Lieutenant. _x000D_ 1/03 1945 was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree. He was also awarded the medal "For the Victory over Germany" and "For Capture of Konigsberg". _x000D_ He raised five children, three sons and two daughters. The eldest son, Mustafin Ihsan Hasanovich, took part in the Great Patriotic War, was a signalman. He told how they established communication, regardless of the enemy's fire.
