, the 193rd Infantry Division was formed in accordance with the NGO directive No. ORG/3214 dated November 28, 1941, from December 20, 1941 to May 6, 1942, by the South Ural Military District in Sorochinsk, Chkalov (Orenburg) region. On December 10, 1941, on behalf of the secretary of the Chkalov regional committee of the CPSU (b), a secret telegram was sent to the Sorochinsky district party committee, which indicated the requirements for the deployment of a new division.
