Rank: Colonel. Type of troops: aviation. My father, Pavel Vasilievich Khrapkov, was born on September 17, 1914, died on May 23, 1993. Fighter pilot, participant of the Great Patriotic War from the first to the last day. Before the war, he lived in Leningrad, worked, studied at a flight course. From the first days of the war he was drafted into aviation. He recalled: “... constant raids and bombing by the Germans haunted our small group. We slept on planes, food was brought to our cars. You will forget a little, and again the order - “Air! Air!". We took off immediately. They fought back. Many of our people were shot down, but we did not remain in debt either. He himself was hit, woke up already in the hospital. On another occasion, he was surrounded by German aircraft. I was the squadron commander and they decided to take me prisoner. Above, below and on the sides of the enemy vehicles. I saw the smoke of a burning factory ahead and sent the car there, the Germans lost me. Another time he was shot down in the Luga area, and ended up in a group of soldiers leaving the encirclement. I was the only one who had a map. Brought everyone out. " After the exhausting battles of the first months of the war, some were sent to rest and reorganized in Kadnikov, Vologda Oblast (November 1941). The regiment lost more than half of its pilots in killed and wounded. We lived in apartments in Sokol, where he met my mother. Before the war, he had a wife and a one-year-old son in Leningrad. He received a message that they were killed by bombing on the train while leaving the city. My mother is a teacher, a divorced woman, fell in love, got pregnant. Her father asked her to leave her pregnancy: “I can be killed at any moment, and after me there will be no one left on earth. Do you know what it is like to go into battle when no one is waiting for you at home? " ... Battles near Moscow, then near Stalingrad. Letters, translations. But a year later, the first wife and son were found. Genka, son, was burned in that bombing, he has scars for life. Letters and transfers to Sokol stopped. The family of the head physician of the evacuation hospital lived in our apartment, she helped to find my father, arrange alimony. In the regiment, my father was called Peter for his outward resemblance to Peter the Great, which is why my patronymic is written in my documents "Petrovna". This photo was sent by Gena, with whom we sometimes corresponded. Father died on 05/23/1993 in Belarus, where they moved at the end of their lives. He was buried in Minsk at the Northern (military) cemetery.

Rank: Senior Lieutenant. Was born in 1906 in the village. Chaltyr, Myasnikovsky district, Rostov region. In 1920 he graduated from high school and enrolled in accounting courses. In 1929, with his older brothers Aharon and Hovhannes, he moved to the Leninavan farm, Myasnikovsky district, where the “Wave of revolution” collective farm was organized. He worked as an accountant, was a member of the collective farm board, and after joining the party was elected instructor of the district party committee in the village. Chaltyr. In 1930, his son Ashot was born. In 1936, daughter Clara was born. In 1937 he was sent to the city of Novorossiysk for advanced training courses. In 1938 he graduated from the Institute of Mass Correspondence Education of the Party Active under the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks in the city of Rostov-on-Don. He was repeatedly called up for military training and retraining courses, and after completing the course of political workers he received the rank of lieutenant. In 1940, his son Markar was born. In 1941, after the start of the Great Patriotic War, he supervised the evacuation of the property of the Volna Revolutsii collective farm to the village of Kievka, Remontnensky district, Rostov region. On November 21st, German troops captured the city of Rostov-on-Don, but the city was liberated by the Red Army's counteroffensive on November 29th. After the expulsion of the Germans, the evacuees returned back to the collective farm. In 1942, daughter Mariam was born. In early May 1942, they brought the conscription agenda, and the army. Subsequently, the wife of Pirap recalled. When he received a summons, took off his cap, hit the ground with force and said: “Where should I go now? Leave four children on you? How is it possible, the mind is incomprehensible. " At that time, for all honest people, the defense of the Motherland was considered a sacred duty. His elder brothers Aharon and Hovhannes were already at the front. Aharon was a sniper and was in a military unit stationed north of Stalingrad, and Ovanes was in a motorized rifle regiment in Crimea. In May 1942 he was drafted into the Red Army and sent to Stalingrad, where, after completing his command courses, he was promoted to senior lieutenant. Participated in the Battle of Stalingrad as part of the 8th Guards Army. He was a political instructor. After the encirclement and defeat of German troops at Stalingrad, the military unit in which he served, was redeployed to the Voronezh region. Participated in the Battle of the Kursk Bulge. After the victory at the Kursk Bulge and the liberation of Kursk, and then Kharkov, he was sent to the Voroshilovgrad region, where the German command managed to develop an offensive in the direction of the Seversky Donets. At the borders of the Seversky Donets, the enemy was stopped in heavy battles, despite the fact that the German troops were replenished with selected units. The 8th Guards Army, which was ordered to strike to liberate the Donetsk region, took up a defensive line along the Seversky Donets. Using a respite during the defense, the command of the 8th Guards Army developed a plan and prepared an offensive to liberate the Donetsk region. From 8 to 23 August 1943, a successful offensive of the Red Army was carried out to liberate the Donetsk region. In a letter dated August 25, 1943, he writes: “... on August 23, in the morning at 8 o'clock, during the offensive he was wounded, in a row for the third time. The bullet hit the neck, entered on one side and exited on the other. I am in the hospital for treatment. " In a letter dated September 4, 1943, he writes: “... the wound has closed and again I am at the front. I don't write about the news, because every day you hear about the successes of the Red Army. " In a letter dated September 7, 1943 (the last letter) he writes: "... they gave out a good paper and decided to report once again that he quickly recovered from the wound he received, is alive and well, I am at the front." During the war years, the post office worked irregularly. Often, letters from the front were delayed and did not arrive sequentially, but several letters together. It was even more difficult with the reply letters, since the front was continuously moving forward, the location of the military units was changing, and their numbers also changed. The letters written from Kursk, where he mentioned awards and the next increase in military rank, have not survived. On the 7th of September I wrote a letter, and on the 8th I was wounded in battle, for the fourth time in a row, and what happened after that is not known, there were no more letters. In 1944, a request was made to the Main Personnel Directorate of People’s Commissariat. The answer was received: To your N GUK-4/081244 dated December 8, 1944, I inform you that military unit Khatlamadzhiev Khachik Markarovich served in military unit 59353. On September 8, 1943, he was wounded in battle and was evacuated to a hospital for treatment. His further fate is unknown to me. Chief of Staff of military unit 59353 Guards. major / Dudko /. 2.6.1992 Archive of military medical documents (Leningrad) informs: In the general registration of (incomplete) wounded, sick and dead in medical institutions of the Soviet Army during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, information about Khatlamadzhiev Khachik Markarovich is not available. Rank: Corporal. Type of troops: Ground Forces, Air Force (except naval aviation), coastal service, NKVD troops, border troops. My grandfather Alexander Vladimirovich Khokhlov was born in the city of Vyazma, Smolensk province on August 15, 1908. His mother, Matrona, died in childbirth. First, he was taken up by his grandfather, the mother's father, who lived in the village. It was a short, happy time in his childhood. But when the child grew up, the father took him to his city. The family lived very poorly: the father married a second time, 3 more children were born, the stepmother did not love Sasha. He was sent to beg from home, to ask for bread. Good people gave bread, but it happened that the dogs attacked, and some people beat. And most of what he collects, the stepmother took away the younger children. Then Alexander was given "to the people", he served in a wealthy family, where the attitude towards him was also far from good. Alexander felt freer after the revolution - he became a Komsomol member, entered the teacher's institute. Before the war, Alexander Vladimirovich Khokhlov worked as a history teacher in a rural school in the Smolensk region, was the head teacher. During the German occupation, on a false denunciation (that he was a communist), he was sentenced to death, but when the Germans were already leading to execution, local residents stood up for him and asked the German officer to check his documents. He checked his passport, canceled the shooting, ordered to send him to a concentration camp for civilians. Together with another teacher A.V. Khokhlov planned his escape. The wire in the camp was still without current. The escape was a success. The concentration camp was in the Smolensk region, my grandfather managed to come to his village. Here he built a dugout in the forest, in which he hid during the day, and at night he came home to the children (2 daughters and a son, his wife died before the war), the woman who took care of the children also fed him. In March 1943, when the front approached Vyazma, the grandfather took the children to the forest. The youngest daughter asked for a drink, and he was afraid that the Germans would hear, he melted the snow. And then I heard Russian speech - our soldiers came. Alexander jumped out to them and began to hug: “Brothers! Relatives! Come! I'm hiding here with the children. " The children were sent to an orphanage in the Kirov region, and their grandfather was drafted into the Red Army (Semelevsky district military enlistment office). A.V. Khokhlov went from Vyazma to Berlin in the 33rd army, which from 1944 was part of the 1st Belorussian Front. At first he was a telephone operator, and then, after training, he became a radio-telegraph operator. Participated in the Berlin operation. In April 1945 Khokhlov saw a German officer at close range. The German fired the pistol first, but missed. And the grandfather from the PPSh was accurate. The officer turned out to be a staff officer, with important documents in the tablet, which helped our army in conducting an offensive operation. Grandfather was awarded for this. Alexander Khokhlov received his first wound on the night of February 23-24, 1945. April 24, 1945 A.V. Khokhlov kept in touch during the battle being wounded. For this feat he was awarded the Order of Glory III degree (4.06.1945). A.V. Khokhlov was mobilized only in 1946. Echelons with Soviet soldiers passed through Hungary. Grandfather was riding in the second, and the first was blown up. He and other soldiers were ordered to clear paths. In 1946 A.V. Khokhlov first arrived in the Smolensk region, but there he saw only ruins and went to the Kirov region, where there were children. He stayed in the village of Semyonovskoye, Shabalinsky District, began to work again as a history teacher at school, married a Russian language teacher Nina Aleksandrovna Petropavlovskaya, and two more daughters were born. After retiring, he worked part-time. Somewhere in the late 70s, while on duty in the boiler room, A.V. got under a current of 380 V, but a man who entered soon turned off the voltage and saved his grandfather. But health was seriously undermined - the heart muscle was damaged, a heart attack, and he received no treatment. In 1980 A.V. Khokhlov moved to the city of Pushchino, Moscow Region, to his daughter. Here he stitched his last years. In 1985 he celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Victory in Pushchino. In July 1985 he died of a second heart attack at the age of 77.

My grandfather, Yuri Nikolaevich Kharchev, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War. Was born in 1919 in the city of Velikiye Luki. In 1941 he graduated from the first Leningrad Artillery School (LAO) with the rank of lieutenant. From the first days of the war he commanded a company of intelligence officers on the Leningrad front. Once, having occupied a height on the Nevsky patch, his company corrected the fire of our artillery and was surrounded. Yuri Nikolaevich, with minimal losses, took people and equipment out of the environment, for which he would be awarded the Order of the Red Banner, and he himself was seriously wounded. Extract from the order: “Comrade Kharchev, being the platoon commander of the headquarters battery, carried out his reconnaissance to enemy territory six times, always obtaining important information about the enemy and showing great composure, courage, valor and skillfully directed the actions of the entire reconnaissance group ... always after receiving the order to withdraw the battery, he was the last to leave the battle, covering the entire group. In one of the reconnaissance, Comrade Kharchev with the Red Army soldier Gavrilov, covering the battery withdrawal, held back a strong enemy attack together, while killing eleven soldiers. The next time Kharchev, going deep into enemy territory with a telephone set, adjusted the fire of our artillery. The enemy not only opened weapons and machine-gun fire, but also launched mortars, mines exploded nearby, covering Kharchev with earth, but he continued to adjust the artillery fire. For bravery, courage and useful data obtained in intelligence, he was awarded the Order of the Red Banner.

Khazov Mikhail Pavlovich is my great-grandfather. He was born in 1925 in the family of ordinary peasants Pavel and Pelageya Khazov. The family was large, there were 8 children. In 1937, my great-grandfather graduated from the 4th grade of school. There was no opportunity to study further in the village, it was necessary to help the parents. Great-grandfather began to work with his father on a collective farm. And then there was the war ... On January 4, 1943, the Pronsky district military registration and enlistment office of the Ryazan region, my great-grandfather was drafted into the Red Army. And, until the end of the war ... In the infantry from Moscow to Berlin ... On the front line ... He fought first as a signalman in a rifle regiment, then ended up in the artillery troops. And from August 15, 1943, until the end of the war, he was a scout of the 538th Army Mortar Regiment of the 33rd Army of the 3rd Belorussian Front. He was wounded three times, was in the hospital, but always did not complete his treatment and ran back to his regiment, to the front, to the front line ... At the front, my great-grandfather had a friend, Ivan Donskikh. A photo has survived, which he signed as a keepsake. Ivan Donskikh - Hero of the Soviet Union! I am proud of my great-grandfather! I am proud of his friend! As my mother says, of all the awards on May 9, my grandfather always wore only the medal "For Courage", treated her with great reverence and respect. Mikhail Pavlovich Khazov, a scout of the 1st battery of the Red Army, was awarded the Medal "For Courage" for the exemplary performance of the combat mission of the command on the front against the German invaders and for the valor and courage shown at the same time. On August 4, 1944, during the enemy counterattack in the Protspol region, together with the command platoon commander, he opened fire on the advancing enemy from his personal weapons and did not allow the Germans to reach the observation post. " My great-grandfather died in 2004. From my mother's stories I know a lot about him, I know about that terrible war, I know about the well-deserved and hard-won Victory of our people! The medal, documents and photographs of great-grandfather are our family heirlooms, which we cherish with great trepidation. And so it will be passed on from generation to generation, and the memory of my great-grandfather will live on! After all, if there was no Victory, then there would be no you and me! What could be more valuable than the memory of those terrible years and pride in our ancestors ?!

Khecheev, at the head of his platoon, fearlessly advanced to the enemy's trenches and, by personal example, raised the fighters in a swift attack and was the first to break into the settlement, thereby managing to capture the enemy's stronghold covering the approaches to the city of Frizak. During these battles, the platoon of the guard of Lieutenant Khecheev destroyed up to 60 soldiers and officers, suppressed 10 firing points and took 13 enemy soldiers and officers prisoner. Rank: Lieutenant. Type of troops: Artillery. Division: 17th Tank Division. Born in the village of Verkhnyaya Mara in a large family. A tall, handsome young man was well educated and respected not only by his peers, but also by his elders. He was drafted into the army on the eve of the warriors. Together with many of his peers from Karachai, he ended up in Western Belarus, where he served in the 257th artillery regiment of the 17th Panzer Transbaikal Artillery Division. After graduating from the regimental school, he became a sergeant and commanded a squad. His regiment entered the battle with the German fascists to the west of Minsk on June 24, 1941. A heavy battle ensued. The Germans overpowered with bomber aircraft, and there were no anti-aircraft installations in the regiment. Sergeant Major Khairkizov and his fighting friends repelled three attacks of the fascists. During the third attack, the platoon commander, Lieutenant Gushchin, dies a hero's death. Kichibatyr Khairkizov became the platoon commander. By lunchtime in the 257th regiment, there were only 3 guns in three divisions. A lot of soldiers were killed. Khairkizov tirelessly fired from the one remaining cannon. He is a commander, a gunner and a gunner. In the Khairkizov division, no one was left alive, and a fighter from another division brought him shells. Fighters from other divisions of the division fought in the same difficult conditions. It soon became clear that, despite their desperate resistance, the Nazis went around on the flanks and closed the encirclement ring. At night, the remnants of the division (20-23 people) gathered, led by one of the staff officers, and decided to try to break through the encirclement. Kichibatyr Khairkizov, when he came to the dugout of the headquarters, found there five seriously wounded soldiers and a nurse. She bandaged a through wound in Khairkizov's shoulder and reported in which direction the others had gone. He went after his comrades in arms. By the end of the night Kichibatyr reached the forest and began to make his way further. He was overcome by pain in his shoulder, hunger, fatigue, sleep. He sat down to rest - he could not sleep, there was no strength to get up. In the evening I fell asleep, and woke up early in the morning to a bird song. He took out a map, got his bearings and decided to head east through a dense forest, where the Germans would not pass, and go out to his own. I went along a barely noticeable path onto a small road, and then ended up at the house of the forester Ignat. The forester advised Khairkizov to rest, gather strength, and then make his way to his own. He spent three days with the forester. Ignat provided the warrior with food, and on the fourth day Kichibatyr set off on the road. I followed the route suggested by the forester. I got to a small farm. He decided whether to turn there or pass by. Suddenly he noticed the rustling and swaying of the branches of the bush, became alert, prepared to shoot. Khairkizov noticed a rifle barrel aimed at him. Both paused and began talking. Before him is the same encirclement, making his way to his own, moreover, it turned out to be his fellow countryman - Yunus Karaketov. They were delighted and decided to make their way together. It was not far from Minsk near Borisov. They managed to find out that the Germans passed these places. They learned that the Nazis were driving captured Soviet soldiers to the West along these roads. We decided to act without wasting time. They lay in wait for the convoy: five fascists escorted about 70-80 Soviet prisoners of war. In the forest, in a convenient place, they organized an ambush. When the column approached closer, three fascists were killed by Kichibatyr Khairkizov and Yunus Karaketov, and the other two were quickly destroyed by the prisoners themselves. Then 55 Soviet prisoners of war were freed north of Borisov. They were not taken prisoner, but to be shot. The activities of the two partisans began to instill fear in the Nazis. For their capture, the German Gestapo appointed a substantial monetary bonus and two cows. Friends became known in the Borisov area under the names "Lenya Cherny" (K. Khairkizov) and "Kolya Cherny"; (Yu. Karaketov). In one of the battles, when they had to fight together against a whole platoon of Germans, partisans from Leonov's brigade, led by the commander himself, came to the rescue. The Nazis were defeated, and both friends from that day joined the brigade of the captain (senior political instructor), who soon became a lieutenant colonel, Vasily Sergeevich Leonov. Kichibatyr Khairkizov and Yunus Karaketov were the organizers of the first two partisan detachments of the Leonov brigade. In these units, at first there were 60-70 fighters each, later it became more. In 1943, the number of partisans in the brigade exceeded 800 people. These were soldiers who made their way out of the German encirclement, freed with the help of the first partisans, former German prisoners of war, etc. For the effective organization of activities in 1943, the partisans were divided into six groups. Weapons workshops, reconnaissance units, food detachments, groups for liaison with nearby settlements, etc. were equipped. In the fall of 1942, Khairkizov's detachment attacked a distillery, which was carefully guarded by the Nazis.Several tasks were immediately solved: the first - the partisans showed that they were capable of performing the most difficult combat operations, the second - they procured a lot of weapons and ammunition for the detachment, the third - they provided the hospital with alcohol. The guards of the plant were basically liquidated, they captured rich trophies of war - 30 rifles, 5 boxes of cartridges, more than a hundred grenades, explosives and much more. Then the plant was blown up. After that, Khairkizov's detachment attacked the Vyatno railway station. They fired at a train with German soldiers and officers. Meanwhile, the partisans were attacked by fascists from the nearby garrisons. A heated battle ensued. The partisans managed to disable the water pumping station and the telephone and telegraph communication system, disrupt the system for regulating and divorcing trains, and exterminate many fascists. The partisans seized 3 cars, loaded them with food, and blew up the warehouses. Khairkizov was simultaneously the commander of one of the partisan detachments, the chief of intelligence and the deputy commander of the Leonov brigade. He led the brigade's most responsible combat operations, took part in major battles with punitive forces. He carefully studied the maps, the terrain and was very well oriented: which path to go where, from where enemies might unexpectedly attack, etc. By the spring of 1943 near Khairkizov, the number of partisans in the detachment exceeded 100 people. He made frequent and unexpected raids. Once, during an attack on the Nazis, his detachment destroyed 90 Nazis. The Germans realized that they would not have peace if they did not destroy the partisans. They removed an entire regiment from the front, reinforced it with police units. These units were sent to the Senninsky and Chashnitsky districts, where the partisans of the Leonov brigade operated. However, liaison brigades from settlements timely notified the partisans about the impending punitive act. The partisans prepared well, set up an ambush, surrounding the fascists from all sides. In this battle, one tank and two armored personnel carriers were burned, 150 fascists were destroyed, and many more were wounded. The punishers, realizing their helplessness, retreated. And in this battle Khairkizov Kichibatyr commanded his detachment and managed to fulfill the duties of the deputy brigade commander. Detachment Khairkizov in the second half of 1942 to the first half of 1943 derailed 7 enemy trains. They, with their commissar M.I. The Mazovtsevs bypassed, personally examined the border of the detachment and, with the consent of the brigade commander, strengthened it as a state border. So, in the first half of 1943, the detachment exterminated 400 fascists who wanted to break through to the territory where the partisan detachment was stationed. At one of the meetings of the headquarters, Khairkizov said: "We must make sure that the enemy does not dare to stick his head out of his garrison. And we must strike more organized and strong blows against their garrisons." Through his contacts, he manages to recognize and neutralize the fascist provocateur Ilya Kozachenko, who was sent by the Nazis to eliminate Khairkizov, as the most dangerous partisan commander. Under the leadership of Kichibatyr Khairkizov, a whole series of remarkable operations were prepared and successfully implemented, over 50 German soldiers and officers were personally killed by Khairkizov in military operations against the fascist invaders. The commander and chief of staff of the brigade more than once celebrated his military exploits, entrusting the most important tasks. Kichibatyr more than once led the brigade to carry out a combat mission and always came out of fights with victory. He carried out the most risky operations with composure, was a master of partisan battles and came up with dizzying tricks, looked for moves unexpected for the enemy. Here is one of the episodes of his combat life. The fascist security service, with the help of traitors, revealed many partisan messengers and scouts. The Gestapo carried out a massive raid in the brigade's area of operation. 29 patriots were arrested. They were put in a prison in the village of Vyatno, tortured, hoping to get information from them about partisans and underground fighters by force. All partisans were doomed to be shot. Kichibatyr turned to the brigade commander with a request to allow him to release the prisoners. Leonov agreed with his plan of operation, and Kichibatyr set off in broad daylight with a group of partisans to Vyatno. Some of them were disguised as policemen, who allegedly brought a dozen of those arrested in two trucks. Kichibatyr, introducing himself as the senior of the convoy, told the guards to accept the arrested. When they began to examine the papers, the partisans finished them off with knives, freed their comrades and took them in two trucks to the forest to the partisan base. Khairkizov led the rout of the police garrison in Podvoretsk, an ambush near the village of Marintsa, where 18 SS men were killed. The combat description of the brigade command says that Kichibatyr Khairkizov was a thunderstorm for the Germans. Never knew fear. He was twice wounded, but did not agree to leave his duties. Moreover, he always went into battle ahead of the attackers, showing an example of personal courage and courage, inspiring the partisans with his example. You are not careful, you will hit a bullet! "- the brigade commander warned him more than once. But Kichibatyr did not think about caution. He fought like a horseman, and died like a horseman. Colonel VA Nezhinsky in his book" Soldiers die with weapons " "The partisans were" cites the following document about the last battle of Kichibatyr on June 8, 1943: "On June 8, 1943, Khairkizov received information that a convoy of punishers was moving along the highway from the village of Novo-Belitsa to Senno. Khairkizov was taken by the partisan detachment of Comrade. Pashchenko, organized an ambush in the forest in the area north of the village of Koroli and mined the highway. When the front car exploded and the highway was closed, the squad ran into the enemy. More than 25 Germans were killed and many were wounded. The battle lasted about 2 hours. The Nazis defended themselves fiercely. Raising the partisans to attack, Khairkizov was killed. The detachment began to withdraw from the battle, not having time to collect trophies. "The hero was buried with military honors by the entire brigade and local residents in the village of Kamenshina, Chashnitsa district, Vitebsk region, where there were no occupiers at that time. It was very hard for Kichibatyr's relatives, especially him friend and countryman Yunus Karaketov, who took an oath at the grave of a friend to avenge the death of his countryman. But he himself died exactly a year later. Both fighters died without learning about the monstrous atrocities against their people - Karachais, their relatives and friends. K. Khairkizov was awarded in 1943 with the Order of the Red Banner. Their subsequent submissions to high awards after the expulsion of the Karachais were not considered. The archival certificate of the National Archives of the Republic of Belarus No. 3504 dated November 24, 1994 states: "For personal courage and heroism shown in the struggle against the German fascist invaders in March 1943. Khairkizov K.A. by the command of the Sonno Brigade, he was nominated for the title of Hero of the Soviet Union (the original of the award list is kept in the NARB). This is also confirmed in the letter of the Director of the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War dated November 22, 1994, No. 5/386, addressed to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Karachai-Cherkess Republic, V.I. It notes: "As evidenced by the documents stored in the museum's funds, the Karachai partisans in the difficult conditions of the occupation showed exceptional courage, internationalism, boundless devotion to the Motherland. They made a worthy contribution to the struggle of the people's avengers for the liberation of their native land from the Nazis. In the names of the famous partisans Osman Kasayev, Yunus Karaketov, Kichibatyr Khairkizov were named partisan detachments. The peoples of Karachay-Cherkessia can rightfully be proud of them. It is further emphasized that Khairkizov K.A. was also nominated for the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. However, justice in relation to Kichibatyr Khairkizov was very late, but it triumphed. By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation BN Yeltsin of October 5, 1995. "For courage and heroism shown in the struggle against the Nazi invaders in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation (posthumously) Khairkizov Kichibatyr Alimurzaevich. Khairk Izov K.A. in 1996, a monument was erected in his native village.
