Red Army soldier (private) of a separate tank destroyer division of the 58th separate rifle brigade of the 54th army of the Volkhov front. Called up in 1942 by the Sargat Military Commissariat of the Omsk region. He was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War II degree, medals, including "For the Defense of Leningrad", "For Victory over Germany." Participant in the military operation "Iskra" to break the blockade of Leningrad in 1942-1943. January 30, 1943 is the date of the end of Operation Iskra. The headquarters of the Supreme Command ordered the troops of the Leningrad and Volkhov fronts to inflict "additional blows from the flanks" in order to encircle the enemy's MGinsko-Sinyavin grouping. According to the final plan of the offensive, starting from February 8, 1943, the 54th Army of the Volkhov Front from the Smerdyn area (Smerdynskaya offensive operation) delivered "flank strikes". Thus, on February 10, 1943, the Smerdynsk offensive operation began. Having broken through the enemy's defense sector between the Makaryevskaya Pustyn 'and Smerdynia, our units stumbled upon a well-planned second defensive zone saturated with engineering structures. Insufficient artillery support, terrain conditions affected the course of the offensive. Enemy reserves began to accumulate on the flanks. On February 14, 1943, reserves were thrown into the offensive: the 58th separate rifle brigade, numbering 5463 people, including Siberians and the 7th Guards Tank Brigade, which were combined into a mobile group. After February 16, the offensive of the entire strike group of the 54th Army was suspended. In response, the Germans launched a series of attacks from the flanks and along the Lezna River, cut off part of the units of the mobile group of Soviet troops. On the night of February 20-21, the encircled units of the 58th brigade made their way to the army units with huge losses. A little more than 100 people left the entourage. On February 20, the offensive of the 54th Army was suspended. Soviet troops went on the defensive. The 58th brigade was awarded the rank of the Guards. For 12 days, from 10 to 22 February 1943, this area became an absolute hell, our soldiers performed hundreds of feats, thousands of lives were given in the name of protecting Leningrad in the forests and swamps of the Tosno region. The fallen 58th separate rifle brigade of the 54th army of the Volkhov front, which took part in that operation, included private Petr Ivanovich Khramtsov. Khramtsov P.I. listed as missing in the period from 14 to 22 February 1943 in the Smerdyn area of the Tosno district of the Leningrad region. Khramtsov P.I. On February 18, 1943, he received a shrapnel wound in his legs and was being treated in 2229 Surgical Field Mobile Hospital (HPPG). From the memoirs of P.I. Khramtsov, told by his daughter L.P. Parygina. “… Being on the battlefield after another attack at dusk on February 18 with broken legs among the dead, he believed death was not so much from blood loss as from freezing. Help came from a sanitary dog, who found me, alive, among the corpses, and saved me from death. There was no strength to bandage himself with bandages from the medical bag attached to the collar. He pulled out a special stick from the collar and put it in the dog's teeth. After a while, the dog brought me an orderly and then, in a harness, brought me to the medical center, then I got to the evacuation hospital ... ”.

They say that the outcome of the war also depended on one soldier. My grandfather, Aleksandr Nikolaevich Khokhryakov, was also such a soldier. Born on December 24, 1918 in the village of Senyashur, Debesskiy district of the Udmurt ASSR. My family was more fortunate than many others: Grandfather, having survived the horrors of the war, managed to return alive, but with a serious wound to the head. It all started well. Grandfather began his service as a Red Army soldier on 01/01/1940. The service was easy for a young soldier, still, a strong country boy! He quickly mastered the wisdom of soldier science. Let his grandfather begin his battle as a member of: military unit 432 howitzer regiment General Reserve Artillery 30 A Karelian Front (432 howitzer regiment General Reserve Artillery, 30 A KalF, 30 A, KalF) from the Smolensk defensive battle. For the feat accomplished on July 30, 1942, grandfather was awarded the Medal "For Courage". After a severe wound in the head, on July 19, 1944, he was sent to the hospital. After prolonged treatment, he returned to his homeland in June one thousand nine hundred and forty-five. In honor of the 40th anniversary of Victory on 04/06/1985, my grandfather was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree. Every year, a severe combat wound made itself felt more and more often. But, despite this, together with his grandmother, he was able to raise worthy 2 sons and a daughter. He also talked about the need to protect the world and be worthy citizens of your country. After a long illness, my grandfather died on March 30, 1990. People are passing away, and the memory of them will live for centuries in their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.… Grandfather has grown up a worthy replacement. When the time came to pay the sacred debt to the Motherland, his sons and grandchildren joined the soldiers' ranks. Grandfather's front-line items are carefully kept in our family: a medal, an order, a military ID and photographs that have turned yellow from time to time. Reviewing the pictures, I understand that victory does not get old. A hundred years will pass, and she will be as young in our hearts as in the bright forty-fifth, because the soldiers who procured her were dazzlingly young. I am very proud of my grandfather! Throughout the war, he defended his homeland from the Nazis, not sparing his strength and health, and made a great contribution to the Victory!

Khirny Ivan Ivanovich was born on June 6, 1922 in the village of Elshanka, Orenburg region. 06/14/1941 he was drafted into the army. This is how he himself recalls this time. Recorded from the personal memoirs of I. I. Khirny "I was drafted into active service in the army on June 14, 1941. There were 75 of us from Saraktash, almost everyone knew each other, they saw us off merrily with accordions, guitars, songs and dances. I thought that we were parting with family and friends for a long time, and some forever. The war began unexpectedly for us, we did not reach our destination. On June 20, 1941, at dusk, we arrived in the city of Kiev. And on June 21, 1941, at 4 am, German planes began to bomb Kiev. All at this time from the road, tired asleep in the location of the military unit, we could not immediately figure out what was happening, all around explosions, roar, smoke and fire, people cry for help. After the bombing we were all barely gathered. the song says exactly at 4 o'clock, Kiev was bombed and we were told that the war had begun. From the first day we saw the horror of the war and the blood of comrades. I was enlisted in the 436th separate anti-aircraft artillery battalion of the air defense. I had to master military equipment in the field in eye groin and trenches. For a week, the young anti-aircraft gunners explained each number of duties to us, and soon we stood up as a barrier for the capital of Ukraine. For the first time we saw the Germans, what they were doing with our cities, villages, how much grief they brought to the inhabitants of Ukraine. Seeing all this, we quickly mastered military technology and hatred of the enemy, and began to defend the city from enemy air raids. The enemy was superior in strength, we suffered heavy losses, and we experienced the bitterness of retreat. At the end of 1941 we were sent to be re-formed and replenished with human reserves and military equipment. In March 1942, we were sent to the Northern Donets near Kharkov, where fierce battles were going on. The enemy was rushing to Voronezh, we were transferred to Voronezh, South-Western Front. The enemy was striving for the Volga. On June 4, 1942, I was wounded in both legs, I was in hospitals in the city of Engels on the Volga for 2 months and 2 months in the city of Orsk, Orenburg region. He was discharged from the hospital on October 9, 1942. to the reserve regiment. 1943 - Ufa, School of foremen. At the beginning of 1944. back to the front. Met the Victory Day in Romania, Bucharest. "Ivan Ivanovich was awarded: the Order of the Patriotic War of the 1st degree; the Order of Glory; the Order of the Red Banner of Labor; the medal" For the Defense of Stalingrad "; the" Veteran of Labor "medal.

My great-grandfather was drafted into the ranks of the RRK on September 1, 1941 and sent to Omsk to study in a mortar school based on the Omsk Infantry School. On November 10, 1941, he, together with other Surgutyans from Omsk, were sent by echelons first to Padyuga, Arkhangelsk region, and then, at the beginning of February 1942, to the Kalinin front, to the Ostashkovo area, where they arrived on 02/12/1942. From where they made a heavy march to Nelidovo in the Tver (Kalinin) region. Not much has been written about the plight of our troops in this area and the fighting - our losses were too great. Stubborn battles were fought for every piece of land. Many of our fellow countrymen were also killed. From a letter dated 30.03.42 (without amendments) “I further inform that Smirnova A.I. haven't seen it for a long time. I saw it in Paduga, but I haven't seen it here. I do not know not alive. Their school took part in the battle. I do not know not alive. Some of the Surgut guys are no longer alive - Toropchaninov, Semyon Popov and others were killed. I haven't seen Spirin for a long time. Chutin is not killed…. In addition, I also inform you that Comrade Komlev was killed on March 25 or 26 with a mine ... ”Great-grandfather fought in the 22nd Army, 362th Infantry Division, 1210th Infantry Regiment, in the minibatalion, first in a supply platoon, and from 09.06.42 in the 2nd mortar company. From a letter dated April 25, 1942 “For the third month now we have been expecting that they will soon change, but we cannot wait for the change so far. Spring is already in full swing here. Almost all snow melted in 4-5 days. The weather is good and my heart is happy, so hunt and fish if I was at home…. Of the Surgut guys, I see only Korobov. I haven’t seen any nepokoev somewhere in the courses of political instructors… ”From the last letter of 12.06.42 -“ At the moment I am in almost the same place in the Kalinin region, only from the supply platoon I was transferred to the ministry on June 9th. Now I am in the company together with Nikolai Chernomysovsky Tugorinov. His family lives on the Black Cape in Zaton ... We are standing in the forest on the front line, we are on the defensive. We are at a distance of 3-4 km from the German .. Every night a machine gun and a mortar crackle, but we listened and do not pay attention, as if this is the way it should be ... " In March 1943, my great-grandmother Agniya Efimovna received a Notice that on 04/07/1942 her husband, Khudyakov Georgy Ilyich, was missing while at the front. Exactly 69 years after the death of 07/02/2011, the remains of my grandfather, and with him the remains of three more soldiers, were found in the Vetka tract in the Oleninsky district of the Tver region, the village of Young Tud. There are still 13 military letters from great-grandfather. Written in pencil, they are difficult to read. The first letter, written on 19.09.41, came from the city of Omsk, PO Box 3534. The last letter was written on 12.06.42. The address in the letter: 1421 field post, 1210 s \ n, mortar battalion, 2nd miner. Red Army soldier Khudyakov G.I. The name of my great-grandfather, like the names of many people from Surgut who did not return from the war, are forever carved on the slabs of the Monument of Glory in Surgut.
