Lieutenant Bliznetsov N.A. the commander of the control platoon of the 4th battery, a cultured and courageous officer, died heroically in the infantry battle formations at Cape Chersonesos near Sevastopol on May 11, 1944. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, the Order of the Patriotic War II class and the medal For Courage.
